I don't think this is a hammer job, Reason being, Where you can see part of Pfennig in the indent it isn't backwards.

Looks like the plancent did not clear the dies and was struck again on the edge. . Might have never been properly aligned in the press on the initial strike also, giving it a weak first struke.
