The Tamaraw (Anoa Mindorensis) is found only on the Island of Mindoro in the Philippines. In 1975, its population was estimated at 150. The Mindoro Bull closely resembles the Carabao and can weigh over 600lbs!

No, these are common circulating coins. The misspelling error is a little harder to find in UNC, but they are still around.
Sometime ago, a dealer in Manila told me that there were more of the misspelled eagle coins minted than correctly spelled ones. On the contrary, it's been just like you said, harder to find. Since then, yours is only the second misspelled one I've seen so far . What do you think happened to the mispelled coins?
