SELLING COINS - RECOMMENDATIONS

I am contemplating selling my PCGS Registry Set of 20th Century Type Coins and was wondering what other members have experienced with respect to the various sales avenues available as follows:

Auction by major firm (e.g. Heritage, B&M, etc.)
Direct sell to major firm
Auction on Ebay
Direct sell in the PCGS message boards
Other

I am interested in getting the highest price (net of commission/buyers' fees) and have some time to sell the coins. Any help from other members would be appreciated.

It really depends on the particular coins. If they are very high-grade/high-value, then an auction firm would probably be best. However, I would guess that at a minimum, most of the coins newer than 1950 are not high value and should be sold via eBay. Additionally, you might consider where/how you obtained them, that should help you determine how to sell them.
