Is this confirmed? or is this some wwe bullcrap? bc these links i see are all weak.

If he did die. i wish his family well.
  • WWE.com also has the info posted.
  • So sad. A latino superstar in wrestling that actually became champ.

A few years ago, this guy had such severe problems with drugs and alcohol that he had to take time off. He came back bigger than ever (you read into this yourself) and stated he had been clean for some time. I sure hope pain killers were not involved - as they are in most wrestler deaths.

RIP Eddie - you were great in the ring and mic. Condolences to his family as well.

RIP. Cool dude gone. Not mainstream, but you gotta honor these guys as they are indeed atheletes.
Proud of my 16x20 autographed and framed collection - all signed in person. Not big on modern - I'm stuck in the past!

I haven't watched wrestling in years. I can't believe how many of the guys that were on when I was fan are now dead: Moondog Spot, JYD, Big Boss Man, Davey Boy Smith, Gentleman Chris Adams, Ravishing Rick Rude. I also had forgotten about the Von Erich family's affinity for suicide. Geez. Thanks for the link, PA.

totally. i knew there was a dark cloud hanging over the von erich clan, but three suicides?!? and it doesn't take columbo to notice that being abnormally large and having a lusty appetite for drugs seem to contribute to fatal heart attacks before age 45.

bret hart, i think. no, owen hart.

    One of the british bulldogs?

And one that really stood out is one I remembered from watching macho man randy savage wrestle when I was young. Miss Elizabeth, died of brain toxicity?

Look at the number of heart attacks on that list...wow.

Hey, Hercules Hernandez is still alive......looks like crap today, but still alive!!! image Anyway, whatever happened with Lex Lugar? They find a dead woman in his house and then a bunch (understatement) of illegal drugs and steroids in his house. Anyone know where Lugar is today?

And JYD died on the way home from his daughter's graduation. he always stated he wanted to live to see his daughter graduate. Well, he did.

    Edited for grammar

A real shame. I really liked this guy. I've never followed wrestling or even watched it to any extent, but he was always very entertaining and you could tell he really loved what he was doing. I used to work in Stamford, CT where the WWF (if that's what it's still called) was HQ'd. From time to time, I'd run into these guys at the various hotels in the area where we would have our company conferences. Naturally, they're all completely different from their alter egos on the wrestling stage and were really cool to the fans.
  • Turned in to WWE tonight for the first time in maybe 4 years.

I sobbed like a damn baby... Looks like Eddie was loved by all the guys he worked with too.
