I am trying to see what's going on...and am watching the line score on nfl.com. Looked like the PAT was blocked, and then it said Alstott rushed it...perhaps Alstott picked up the block and ran it in, or did TB just go for the 2 pt conversion?
  • off side on pt. Bucs were on inch line. They came out for two. Redskins stoped allstot but before he fell he kept motoring into the endzone, play reviewed, announcers thought he didnt made it, challenge upheld 2 pts is good.

    Wow that's awesome!

I hope it sticks....but then it means we'll have stalin here saying how the Bucs 'dominated' the Skins!
  • bucs win. Simms is acting like he won the superbowl =)

Well he did have a good game, no picks, and it's gotta be a relief to finally win a game.
Everyone (myself included) felt he just wasn't cut out to be an NFL quarterback...the defense though has been shocking the last couple weeks...30+ two weeks in a row? I can't remember the last time that happened.
  • Bucs are going to DETROIT!!!

I've had him benched since week 4, and until they prove they can block for him and he can run, Droughns will be my RB.

  • Rueben is laying Pitts defenders out tonight!

Monster win by the bucs. Simms threw NO picks, and I like that. Running Alstott up the gut reminds me of the old days. We need to
get healty at the safety position though.

    BUCS!!!

That was a great move. Sometimes going against the percentages works. I of course was rooting for the Bucs today to beat the Redskins because of the tight race in the NFC East.

I was only a kid when Leroy played, even though I do remember, Kevin House, and Jimmy Giles. I can imagine that this loss
by the Giants sucks, right after a huge win. Momentum is everything.

  • Hell I remember Leroy, he was a bruiser!

One of the most heart wrenching stories of Bucs from that era (late 70s) is of Ricky Bell, who was an incredible player (and even better human being) who died at age 29 of heart failure from an extremely rare heart disease.
