How can this card get this grade?

The reverse seems miscut?

edited to add: seller is at least a decent enuff guy showing the reverse in his auction.

I over paid on a nine from a seller that did not make that known.

  • easy, someone fell asleep . . .
  • It seems that they look at the fronts of the cards for the OC qualifiers and leave the backs alone....if the front presents clear PSA 8 appeal...they go on that...

OR.. you get it graded and get a sweet looking card with an 8OC qualifier...or a straight up 6.....which is worse?? And thewn someone would complain that it was too nice for a qualifier because of the merit of the front....it's a catch 22...
  • Duh. There's a Yankee on it, so it is obviously overrated.

they are really all over the place when it comes to the backs ...me personally i dont really care too much for the back of a card unless it has glue stains or paper loss.

I believe that PSA guidelines state that a PSA 8 only has to have 90-10 centering on the back.........although this card appears to have less then 90-10 ( 95-5??)
