Am I the only one waiting...

Dear Group,
Am I the only one waiting for all those Buy It Now auctions to end that are
clogging up my ebay searches? I typically look for cards in PSA 5 and PSA 6.
On average, I will find about 700 PSA 5 auctions and about 1500 PSA 6 auctions.
Of course, with ebay having their special BIN listing day, there are now about
2000 PSA 5 auctions and 3700 PSA 6 auctions.
I wonder how many of those BIN auctions actually sell. For me, a BIN auction
on ebay for a graded card is about 99% of the time WAY overpriced.

No, you're definitely not the only one. I hate ebay's free listing days where all these dealers load their entire inventories on ebay at inflated prices. All they're really doing is getting free or low priced advertising for their stores, 'cause I personally don't see them selling very many of their cards at the prices they're asking on ebay.

All it does for buyers is clog our searches and make it take 10 times as long to get through themimage

I listed 4 rare cards with the BIN special. I started with an inflated price but I also have the Submit Best Offer option. It is always worth .10 to go fishing and someone may actually take the bait. I have already recieved a few offers that are reasonable. I know it is annoying to weed through the listings but just keep in mind the sellers know they are overpriced and may be willing to work with you if it is something you want.
  • the BIN nows are plentiful, but it's the same guys dumping stuff from their Ebay stores, so I don't worry about it.

Seems like some more of the stuff, I am looking for is on Ebay now, I just won't overpay for it.
Running an Ebay store sure takes a lot more time than a person would think!
