How many hours do you spend hunting with your metal detector when you get out? I think that the longest that I have hunted is about 6 hours at one stretch.

    Hardly ever less than two, usually about 3-4, longest about 10.

    On an average, 2. I have to temper myself, because I can easily get lost and spend hours and hours at a single hunt. Time really loses meaning when I MD. I have even been known to have to use the alarm function on my watch while MDing in order to make appointments or honor commitments.
