    Yes.

I assume you know the difference between a Peace and a Morgan dollar. image

The Peace dollar is a great find. Post a pic.

Not only does it amaze me that somebody would turn in a Peace dollar to the bank, but that the teller would hand it right back.

Good point. It's one of those areas where novices and con men meet. The 1921 Morgan dollar is quite common (80,000,000 made, I believe it is the most common of the series). The 1921 peace is pretty rare, with just over 1 million made.

Hi everyone- thanks for the info- I must clear one matter up. I did not get the 1921 Peace Dollar. I was doing an estimate for a friend who is a bank teller. She had amassed a large number of coins that customers had brought in. Most were Ikes( she called them silver dollars) but about 50 were real silver dollars. About half were common date Morgan dollars and the reas were common date Peace dollars with the exception of this 1921 Peace. I was very excited to find it but she was not interested in selling it at this time. Since then I have given another teller at the bank an estimate of the value of her"stash" that she had received from customers over the years. sorry about the confusion--Don
