I don't know any specifics about this token; however, the panda as shown on this medal is also the symbol of the World Wildlife Fund. WWF is an international organization devoted to the preservation of endangered species throughout the world. My best guess is that the language used on this token is Dutch. I don't know, but WWF may be headquartered in the Netherlands.
