Do you think every series should have a diagnostic for the purpose of labeling it as strongly or wea

We have our FBL Franklins, our FH Standing Liberty quarters, etc.
Does EVERY series need a diagnostic that can be used to indicate the quality of the strike?
Would you like it if every slab were labeled with FULL (something) so that you'd have an idea what kind of strike the coin's got?

Apropos of the coin posse/aka caca: "The longer he spoke of his honor, the tighter I held to my purse."

Absolutely not - often, that diagnostic is NOT a good indicator of the strike on the remainder of the coin. It focuses way too much attention on one aspect/area of the strike, while, at the same time, ignoring many others.

Not exactly. As Mark points out, this leaves other areas where a less than full strike is present unaccounted for.
Personally, I'd prefer a rating of 1-10 for each of strike, luster, marks/rub, and eye apeal...Mike
