It looks like Raffy is done. I doubt any team will bring him in for Spring Training.
What does the board think about the future of his cards? Values are hitting rock bottom, but he still has 3000/500.
Can he make a comeback in values?

Ooops, giambi actually admitted to using and became forthright at some point in there. Palmeiro has screwed up everything good going his way. He and Schilling sitting next to each other during Congressional Steroid meetings is a priceless baseball memory I could do without.

His cards (and I assume you mean rookies) would have never reached levels much higher than they were even if the scandal never occured. There are just too many of his 1987 rookie cards, let alone in PSA 9 or 10.
Someone should release a set of all the steriod users in baseball, it would have a lot of stars!

With the fuel costs up this winter...
Tossed all Big Mac stuff i had in my collection in the trash this past summer after he took the 5th!! If you go dig through the Vancouver,WA landfill you can probably find some cool stuff. But it might smell.

I don't think I could ever throw anything out but I agree - the guy really hurt himself.
Who could forget how important, significant the race for the record was between Sosa and McGwire.
It put baseball back on the map - these guys should be ashamed of themselves.
I'm surprised McGwire and Sosa don't come clean and blame it on baseball - how the sport was failing in popularity - especially in light of the 94 season. They could say they did it as a service to humanity!!!

To me it came down to moral value's . I am glad for one to see Congress stepping in and taking control. And the Bill includes all sports not just baseball. Baseball dragged their A**es for years on this . 1/2 season 1st offense, 1 season 2nd offense, 3rd offense--out for life. I hope this includes any retirement benifits as well.
