Could be wrong, but I think those cards were produced to commemorate the oompa loompa olympics ...
"How about a little fire Scarecrow ?"
Surely you're not referring to the 1932 Oompalympics? If so, those must be worth their weight in gold!!! (en tickets)

seriously, any ideas on it?
I am fairly sure these are strip cards from the 20's.
i think the whole set has about a dozen or so cards with just 2 being baseball related one a catcher and the other one a pitcher.
Burdicks catalog will give you an exact name for the set..but its probably somewhere around W500's series.
I would think that a PSA graded card might go for 20 bucks or so depending on the grade...you would have to cut them yourself.
A type collector might pay a little bit more , but it depends on how you listed on ebay and if they find it.
I would personally pay around 10-20 bucks for one...if it was graded already, its a neat tiny card.

But you make a good point, a nice framed strip could present very well and their originality might add to its value.
Sadly these days i forget to see a vintage card with out plastic around it...Its a shame really.

thanks again
