The Eagles won't make the playoffs this year.

Ya gotta wonder if they'll ever win. Or at least win with essentially the current team. The window of opportunity in today's NFL does not open wide and it does not stay open long. It's quite possible the McNabb/Reid-era Eagles have already missed their best chance.

    The more important question is:

Do I play McNabb/Reggie/LJ or go

    Eli/Toomer/Tony Gonzalez?

LJ is injured too ... image

I think Reggie Brown could come on ... hey, he is a starter and the Eagles are gonna punk Dallas

McNabb will have three TD's ... a must win game for the Eagles. Besides the divisional implications, an Eagles win will quiet some of the TO talk.

eagles have a snowball chance in h&ll of winning this game now.. losing your starting center hurts real bad. most important player on a line that hasnt been able to give mcnabb time. he has been hit so much they gonna get killed!

dallas wins easy! its gonna be ugly. 38-13

Really? What gives you that impression?

They are currently in LAST place, halfway through the season.

They gave Westbrook a multi year, multimillion contract, even though he (as Mr Tony would say) *stinks*.

They were so childish with the TO situation as to resign Akers with 2.5 years left on his contract.

This team is awful without TO.

Fraley will be missed. He is a very good center. The Eagles are having a bad run of luck here. I mean geez how often does a center get injured and out for the season? - not very often. Their injury list this week was horrible although many of those players should play on Monday night. Chad Lewis coming back will give them a spark. I still say if Chad Lewis would have played in the Super Bowl, he got injured right at the end of the game in the NFC championship win, the Eagles would have won that Super Bowl. But no excuses being made, every championship team must overcome these problems or...well then they don't become a championship team. I agree that this is a must win game for the Eagles.

    Eagles fans never make excuses.

kuhlman, thanks for the props ... it is fun talking smack with you guys. Except Axtell ...

    but 38-13??? c'mon now

Personally, I think the chances are tough. But with a win Monday, split with the Giants, beat the skins next time, and with Arizona, St. Louis, and Seattle still left ... the window is up to them.

ny is going to beat the eagles bad both times. I feel bad for the eagles since T.O has ripped that locker room apart. Funny to see nobody but hugh douglas step up in that locker room and he isnt even in the active roster. ATH was right i think a lot of people in that locker room actually side with T.O about management or else more would have stepped up on Mcnabb's side.

I heard someone else talk about that yesterday and it really stood out - why hasn't anyone else stood up and defended McNabb? The argument was that so many in the locker room associate McNabb with management and therefore people put up with him, but don't respect or want to defend.
