Talk about a letdown when getting a PSA package

I received my latest PSA submission in today's mail. By the way, I don't keep close watch of the turnaround time, but I would say these arrived back to me in Canada in about three weeks from the date they were initially sent off. Pretty darn good job by both PSA and the postal boys!

Unlike most I don't bother checking the results on-line beforehand, but rather enjoy the excitement & anticipation of opening up the package when it arrives at my home. Anyway, the grades are virtually as I expected, though I was sure the Mays would draw a NM-MT grade. What I am disapppointed in is the way the cards (all 6 of them) arrived tilted in their respective holders. Kind of unsightly to look at. I tried tapping one "back into place" but it did not move. I am almost afraid to give it a good whack on a desk in case I inadvertently damage the case. They look lousy at the moment and, to make matters worse, they are wrapped in the condom. I guess this cannot be helped; I am sure PSA did not holder them like this. It is going to take a lot of tapping in all sorts of directions to get these uniform in their holders. I am bummed....

    Sorry to see this Eye.

    This is just plain disappointing.

Come on...can't they come up with something a little more foolproof that this?

    Loves me some shiny!
  • Wow. Is there anything positive coming out of PSA today? Seems to be one of those days........
  • I dealt with Nikki in customer service. she was very helpful to me. I'd call at psa. her extension is 183. I would send the cards back and ask for compensation for your time and extra expense on shipping. she gave me some free grades for having to send mis labeled flips back 3 times.

To be honest, since seeing the paint mixer and washing machine experiments, I've given a few of my slabs some pretty good whacks to straighten errant cards, with no visible damage.
