Express Service dalays ??

Hi All
I submitted two early dollars, for Express Service, which according to the USPS, PCGS received on 11/01 AM & apparently due to some problems with a "new system", as of this afternoon, we still do not have the grades yet.
This is our first recent submission & we have a limited amount of time to return these coins if they do not grade correctly.
Today is seven working days & I wonder if this service level usually take this long ?

They usually don't count the first day that the coin is received and everything is based on business days, so I'm told. It may take another day before you are entitled to a comp.

Since I live about 6 miles from PCGS, it would really cool if I could just drop the coins off there.

I'm still waiting on my grade guarantee that arrived on 9/16 and has been in "grading" since the first week of October and has had at least three emails sent by customer service to DH asking him to take a look since early last week.

You can drop off coins at PCGS offices. Call their customer service line for information.

IPCGS received 2 of my submission on 9/27 (actually, I dropped them off atthe Long Beach show on 9/21). One was an ecomomy submission where grades were received on 11/2 (26 days) and some FREE submission which are, as I understand it, graded at the Regular level (15 business days) but without a guarrantee. Its been 31 business days (less 4 days for the LV show) - so that's 27 days. IN the past PCGS has been very timely with FREE submissions. I was very surprised that my Econ coins graded before the Regular coins!

BTW, I've called Customer service and for the last 2+ weeks, I've been told my coins were in sitting in Final Verification 2....which means they're almost done. Still got my fingers crossed......but I don't understand what the hold up is.
