Question for Lincoln Cent variety collectors

My grandfather says he has a 1967 doubled die cent. He says there's pronounced doubling on the chin and other areas. Is there such a beast or is it probably just strike doubling?

Probably strike doubling, with a miniscule chance that the coin is double-struck. There are no major doubled dies known for the date.
