Hi -- I recently had graded a complete 1948 Leaf Pirates set. It is only the second complete set on the PSA Registry (its #2 now), and is graded overall at 7.35 (NM+) with mostly 7s and 8s and only a few 6s (that I thought would grade out higher). Scans of all cards are available.
I haven't seen many of these cards selling as singles or in a set in graded form. I have seen one set for sale, by a very prominent dealer in pre-WWII baseball cards, graded out at NM (but not PSA grading) and priced at $6,500.00.
I am interested in selling this set and am looking for serious offers. I have other interests and this set, while fascinating and unique, has to give way. Please email me with any questions or inquiries.
Thanks!
