Mint Shipping...does any one not get items?

Just curious...2 items I have ordered this year have been returned to the mint before I ever got them. Not sure where they ended up and why they were returned but it is a little frustrating to get an email saying an item was returned without ever getting it in the first place. I suppose it is something with the PO and getting things misrouted and then just returning them rather than attempting to deliver them.

Is this a common problem or is my local PO just having a bad year? I say bad year but I have about 1 package a year just 'dissapear' into thin air too...
