I was just offered Drew Brees and Joe Horn for Larry Johnson. Should I take it?
My legaue starts 1 QB, 2 RB, 2 WR, TE, K, Def and a flex which can be a QB. Qbs usually consitently score the most points.
QB's Peyton and Chris Simms ( would be Brees)
RB's Curtis Martin, Reuben Droughns, Kevin Jones and LJ
WR's Glenn, Boldin, Wilford, and Coles (Horn would help)
Let me know what you think.
I am pretty much out of the playoffs but we have a pretty hefty entrance and therefore a good payout to the weekly winners so after this bye week for Brees and Horn, I could finsih strong and maybe win a few weeks.
Please let me know your thoughts.

It looks to me like your league starts one QB and you already have Peyton.
What's this trade going to do for you, put a good QB on the bench??
Even if I'm ready that part wrong, I like Johnson's prospects for the second half. And although you do need WR help, Horn hasn't been a good option up to this point because of a nagging injury.
All just my opinion I guess, but you asked.

pick up Greg Lewis or Reggie Brown ... they are gonna get some points
No...You can start a second QB as a flex player. So I would be starting Brees and Manning.

dont need another QB, unless he gets hurt. You can always dump Simms and pick up a ringer if you need it fora week or so. I think
Larry Johnson will get carries even if Holmes is playing....KC scores a lot of points.
There aren't any FA QB's out there? Brad Johnson maybe?

Larry Johnson is now a top 5 fantasy back, and shouldn't be traded for anyone short of Shaun Alexander, LaDainian Tomlinson, or Edgerrin James.
Hope you didn't make that trade after todays news.
Shawn.
I didn't make the trade. My fantasy partner Wes(I hope to never say that in any other context, ever) really didn't want to make the deal yesterday because Brees and Horn were both on byes. I guess it worked out for us.
