Anyone have any input regarding Canon A610/620

After realizing my scanner just won't cut it for taking decent pictures, and my old HP digital camera won't do closeup, I started looking for a nice new one. I have seen a lot of positive reviews for the Canon A610/620 series, especially regarding the Macro aspect, and wanted to know if anyone had gotten one of these and could relay their input.

    Can't help you with the camera as I'm not familiar with it, but I would make sure that it has the ability to supprort a custom white balance....Mike
