Congrats to the deserved winner...and yet another yankee gets shut out of postseason awards.

Another good day!

  • Had a great yet quiet year in Anaheim.

Well deserved indeed......I actually heard he swallowed the competition image.

    Remember these Chuck Norris Facts

    1. When Chuck Norris does a pushup, he isn't lifting himself up, he's pushing the Earth down
    2. According to Einstein's theory of relativity, Chuck Norris can actually roundhouse kick you yesterday
    3. There are no such things as lesbians, just women who have not yet met Chuck Norris
  • Again, why give out individual awards if you award them to players based on their teammates (both run support, and what place the team finishes in). TIme and time again, the voters do this. I'm not going to debate about this topic as I did that already. But, having better teammates is the only thing that separated Bartolo Colon from Johan Santana, because Colon certainly didn't pitch as well as him. 21 wins(thanks for the runs fellas), and first place (thanks again fellas). Please don't say Colon was part of it, because I am quite certain Johan wouldn't have had a problem leading them to first place either.

HEck, Mark Buehrle was also more deserving than Colon. It is the wins!! People are blinded by the wrong things!! It wasn't lack of innings that cost Buehrle or Santana wins, it was sheer bad luck(in comparison to Colon!!).

image I geuss the only requisite to be a voter is a fat belly, crumbs on your shirt, and the ability to throw phony superlatives around. I've seen these guys. Because it sure isn't based on any analytical ability, or know how.

Johan Santana should have won this award, he is a much better pitcher.

Yes, I was a bit surprised to see how much better he actually was...but, I guess the 21 wins did the trick.

I heard an interesting stat the other day about Colon. His bullpen did not blow ONE game for him this year. That sure helped him along the way to 21 wins. Ask Pedro Martinez how he feels about his bullpen blowing games for him.
