OT- MVP Voting deadline?

Do the votes have to be in at a certain time for MVP, ROY, Cy Young, etc? Is it before the postseason begins or do voters take the postseason into consideration?

    Before postseason since postseason has it's own awards.

    Late 60's and early to mid 70's non-sports

    Yes, voting is definitely completed before the post-season begins.

    I assume that Arod wont win MVP since some anti-Yankee voters picked Huston Street over Robinson Cano.........someone has to explain that to me.

    was jhonny peralta not eligible for the ROY?

    Peralta played in 77 games in 2003, so he wasn't eligible for ROY honors. Choosing between Street and Cano was tough, but I might have gone with Cano. As far as MVP, I'm thinking 1-Ortiz, 2-Arod and 1-Pujols, 2-A. Jones. NL Cy 1-Willis, 2-Carpenter, 3-Clemens. Actually I think Andruw Jones and Carpenter will win the awards, both they wouldn't get my first-place vote.
