I see the Clad Roosevelt series now boasts 3 closed sets in the top twenty, and 2 have up-dated!

MMMMMMMMMMM...Lots to hide in this series!

Looks like my fever has caught on!

And a BIG congrats to Tim for passing 68.00 in GPA with his Climbing Clads Set. Not an easy goal to reach once you get into the years and, mint marks, that have very few FB's graded. CLOSED??? Maybe, but we are all still open for business. Paul you may have started a trend here. As for that Dead Roosie Corpse you spoke of, nope, he was just semi comatose.

Yes, yes, yes, Mr. Dan50 that "Dead roosie corpse" has another breath I see! Climbing Clads Tim broke the 68.00 barrier! image And we now have 4 closed sets!!!!! Yes the trend is in motion...now all we need to do is get K.L. to get that 82-no/p and then close his set, then we would really be in business!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The good and the bad sides of closing your sets.

THE BAD... I did look through the sets to see if Registry set owners could use coins I didn't need in mine. Not at inflated prices, but not blue light specials either. Case in point: It was I who sold two weighted coins to Tim. This pushing him over the 68.00 level. Cost to Tim for the .04 movement upwards, $150.00. Fair price for that much movement I think. The closing sets make this a lot harder. Thats the bad.

THE GOOD... I've had more than a few offers come my way for coins I need, from people who count the # of said coins in Reg. sets. Then decide, since most are accounted for, that theirs is worth a large increase in value. In some cases, very large. So distasteful as it is for me to close my set, I did. If this makes it harder for someone to price gouge, thats good.
