Was I hallucinating today? (strange looking seated dollars)

I snuck a peak at eBay at work today and saw three seated dollar auctions and thought the coins were fake. On one "LIBERTY" was missing and on two others there was a blank spot in the middle of "LIBERTY." All three were from the same seller. They were ending this evening. All three had multiple bids, but the reserve wasn't met. I looked for them after getting home and now I can't find them. Were they pulled? Did I fall asleep in my cubicle and dream it? (This is a possibility) The seller's name was quang something or other.

Interesting pieces. For some time fake seated dollars were well known of various dates all coming from a damaged hub with a heavy cut through the top of the shield on the obverse. The 1859's shwn on these auctin are also from that hub but they have done some work on the hub now trying to smoothut the cut and make it less noticable. The 1862 is even more interesting. It is also from the same hub but in this case they have then recut the entire shield on the obverse, but they did not recut the banner or LIBERTY on the shield. If you look at the large size picture you can still see the banner underneath the recut shield lines.

The pictures on coinfacts.com tell me that 1859 Seated Dollars didn't have "In God We Trust"

That was added in 1866.

So they are either blatant fakes or some really rare varieties!
