    It is fake for sure, and you certainly can't blame the seller for not disclosing it.

    The people must simply not be reading the description image

    Or perhaps he glued on the D and didn't want to be too terrible of a person when he sold it for insane profit.

    Just think of it... For the price of an X-acto knife you can pop off the offending letter and voila! You've created a $3.00 coin.

    Sellers like this should be tarred and feathered.

    Does anyone really wonder why eBay attacts less than ethical sellers of coins? This is a great example! Just glue on a 'D', tell folks it is glued on and still make a killing! Always amazing to me...

    Some folks really do collect counterfeits, so it is not a complete sham. People do need to take SOME responsibility for their actions.
