Cherry picked a SWEET rare variety bust quarter today...

Browning 4 if I am correct...I know I cherry picked it but I dont know what the value the variety brings. I ran into a nice little fresh bust quarter/dime deal. This is not the nicest but it is only one I can afford to keep...

Varlis/Nysoto, any input on its rarity would be appreciated.

Beautiful 1805, but no premium on the variety. 1805 B-5 is THE desireable variety for 1805. I have owned 3 B-5's over the years. The last I sold was 3 years ago and I have been looking ever since with no luck.

Nonetheless, I LOVE your 1805 quarter. Very nice....

I put up a WTB thread for Capped Bust quarters on BST a week or so ago. I got one PM offering a nice coin but a little too high grade for what I was looking for. Then the thread sank. Nobody had any low- to mid-grade Capped quarters to sell me.

Now y'all come and taunt me with them.

First the Draped Bust (half) that got cherrypicked away from me, and now I'm Bust-quarterless, and nobody loves me...

CL, your 08 looks as close to unc as can be. Did they net grade it for any issues? Very nice BTW!

The 1808 is very close if not UNC...they did net grade it I believe due to a pin scratch hidden in the hair.

Dont get all nice on me though...we can keep break dancing!

When I snatched my new 08 (not the one I posted in this thread) at a show this weekend..... another guy had a gorgeous au-58 1820/19 curl base in his hand.
I mean, it was VERY nice. I had my eye on him, waiting for him to set it down for a half a second..... then I would have done the
stman snatch

He didn't put it down though. BUT, alas, it was in an NGC holder, and he's probably buried in the coin. Poor guy
