Ebay Watch

I know we have brought this up before.

But I'm curious where people are today.

My ebay watch is at zero for the first time in eons!

I have a 12 buck piece of sheet music coming in and that's it!

Anyone else at the bottom?

I am currently watching a few items but just to see how they end.

mine is chugging along at the usual 80 or 90 items - doesn't help that I now have to have a pair of leather pants....

Watchlist on 9 items, but one is the '63 Topps set at $52K, so I won't be bidding on that.

If it wasn't for trying to fill in holes in my Heritage Relics list, there wouldn't be much else on my watch list. It hasn't been below 25 in months...

I think since I started sniping I have severly cut down my watching items. I have zero and I think I probably put 1-2 in there a week that I don't want to buy but am curious where it will end.

It doesn't seem that I can stay at 0 watched for more than a few days. I was on a 2 day streak until tonight, in which I now have 10 items on my watchlist. It's funny, I have no extra money after paying for the last few auctions I won........yet I still have items on my watchlist. My watchlist often turns out to be an unfulfilled "wantlist" as a result of purchasing previous watched items and running out of money. :-/

  • My lowest watch for this year has been down to five. I normally watch from twelve to fifty-plus items, most items that I have a minute, if any, interest in them. I'm just curious at what the winning bid would be.

I use the watchlist for several reasons: for cards I intend to bid on but don't want to tip my hand on early; for cards I'm thinking about, depending on how I do on other auctions and where that card is at it gets close to the auction end; for cards I just want to track the final selling price on; for cards I want to make a private offer to the dealer on if they don't sell (usually on modern cards that are 10% to 50% over what I'm willing to pay).; to remind me to go through all of a dealer's auctions before they end; and I even keep closed auctions there to remind me to check out to see what certain dealers have newly listed.

I currently have about 60 items in my watchlist, and most are closed.
