Interesting opinion. This coin was in a PCGS OGH MS66......It has great appeal and has no hit or blemishes. I compared it to other MS67 Morgans I have seen at shows and it does stand on its own with them....

The 83-CC looks like a solid 65.

I don't see the 81-S getting higher than 66, with the chatter in the left obverse field. I probably would have left it in the 66 OGH holder. But, if, as you say, it compares well with other 67s, perhaps you have a shot. Super coin!!

BTW, send you submission numbers to Marty, as the submission page is getting a little thin! Hopefully, I can get a couple of mine out this weekend.

I for one vote 67 on the 1881-S.......I have an 80-S in a 66 holder and your 81-S if clearly superior............good luck !!!! If it's comes back a 67......and you come to FUN.......the drinks are on me
