2 Toned FBL 1955 Franklins from a mint set - opinions?

I slipped these out of an original packaging mint set. It's been put away along with that Lincoln book about 2 decades untouched. The only thing that I could see had been done was someone flipped the 55-P cent over... The cents are all still red...
I'm going to take these out into the sunlight and see what I can get from the colors of the toning. In hand they're mostly purple with green tinges, my monitor doesn't refect the true colors well. I think that they meet the FBL designation based on what I've seen in comparison... Of course, your opinions on this as well as grade are always appreciated! Thanks for being here. It's good to be back from Memphis.

So tell me what you think. Or just go to bed. C'mon, you know that you're tired... sleep...sleep...

They look like Fibbles to me. Nice Frankies.

I can't really judge the luster from the pic, but if they have really good luster, you have an above average coin.
55 was a heaviy promoted date, and a lot of slider rolls, and mishandled pieces are out there.
As far as grade, I again hesitate to give an opinion. I don't see any heavy abrasions in the primes, so you might have an MS- 65 if the luster is there. I would call the eye appeal neutral at best. 55 is a really tough date to find attractively toned. Some Market makers want collectors to think that a white 55 is some kind of rarity. That is a bunch of hogwash. Your bell lines look like there basically there.
Here is a pic of my most attractive 55. A 55 with this kind of color is top drawer, and extremely difficult to find.
Here is a darkly colored 55 mint set. I seen hundreds, and owned at least 20 in my life. Typically, the P cards had the darkest toning, followed by the D, and then the S. Sometimes the D and S coins get really nice rim toning. You should look at the D mint quarters in your mint set. They can bring good money in high grades such as 66 etc.
Great feedback.
