Here is some further information on the 1856 Cent.

The inside of the "O" in "of" on the obverse does appear to be square and there is no dot on the center of the lower corner of the top left of the N in CENT.

After further examination of the 1856 cent, it is more likely a Snow 3 but could still be a Snow 9.

There is something right under the top left corner of the "N" in cents on the reverse. To me it does not look like a dot but it may be.
