Absolutely right. Sure looks like he might have also tried to trim the left border on the 66 Mantle - and if he didn't he probably figured that there was too little border there to be able to trim it and look half decent.
I have a hard time believing that buyer is legit. No doubt it is the seller's account or friend, trying lend credibility to the ridiculous auction by showing a bid.
I got a reply back that makes me think this is a scam. He mentions that he's got it covered and that he has gotten nice cards from SGC. Not sure what any of that means but it sounds like bs to me.

Give the guy credit. One of those two sentences is 100% true.

I highly doubt that the card is not trimmed and therfore am confused how both sentences are true?

He hasn't won anything over $100, so I think this is an out of the ordinary bid.
This whole thing stinks.

Zef - you're absolutely correct; that's what I get for posting from the office. Brain fart, simply put.

I know the feeling. My only problem is when the brain fart happens on work stuff and not the board.

I emailed him for exact measurements - told him I'm not familiar with Pro grading.
I got a better shot at being the Queen of England than that card does of being the proper dimensions!

Better not post any pictures of the Queen of England - that might be interpreted as a "girlie" post - LOL
