Have fun Wondo! I have attended dozens of games at Beaver Stadium and it is always great fun. I'm expecting an easy win for Penn State in this game by two touchdowns or more.

Thanks! I'm taking my daughter up to visit the campus and get the "PSU Experience." Penn State needs to play better than we did against Purdue.

Does the winner of this game clinch the Big 10 or is there some iterations with Ohio State?

    Stevek,

Did you go to Penn State?? Had an older brother that went to Michigan State for his bachelors and then to Penn State for his Doctorate.

So true and this season is no exception. Out of the Top 33 teams in the AP Poll this week, 6 of those teams are from the Big 10. That says a lot about how tough it is in the Big 10.

    <<< Class of 1983 >>>

Say hi to Joe for me. He may not remember me though image

I was in his living room at his house with him and his wife and about twenty other people for a few minutes a few weeks before Christmas back in 1975. Some fraternity brothers of mine along with the little sisters of the fraternity strolled over and sang Joe and his wife a Christmas carol, which is a tradition among some fraternities at Penn State. It was drizzling rain but muddy as all heck and I figured that he would enjoy the Christmas carol right outside his driveway because obviously we had mud all over our shoes and would mess up his house. Without hesitation he invited us inside into his living room, as we tracked mud all over his house, but he didn't care about that. He was genuinely happy to see us and there was even some interesting football conversation because he actually also had some recruits in his living room at the time.

Paterno truly is a remarkable guy. And I'll admit that I thought his better days were behind him as a football coach, but I am thoroughly pleased that I was incorrect about that.

This should be a good game and the Wisconsin defense needs to come through in a big way. It has the potential to be a memorable game and I am pulling for Wisconsin... Go Badgers!

  • Five SEC teams in the top 17. Two in the top six. And this is nothing new. The Southeastern conference is , and has been for the last several years, the best football conference in the NCAA, bar none.

Remember that Coach Saban came from Michigan State... the Big 10 must be doing something right... after all, didn't he do a decent job rebuilding the LSU program?

Penn State must have played well today... It really looks as if the Northwestern win is making their season. Congrats to Penn State...
