Hello Boom, I'm new and nervous. I would love to donate but don't know how. I'm so new at this, I don't know what the PM system is. I use paypal with ebay and notice others have made donations through that. I have been reading this forum for about a year and know that your charities are good. and your heart like your title goes BOOM. Please help this new meat and other new meats that don't know how, yet would like to donate
My grandchildren. The heirs to my collection! (Just not to soon I hope)
Has HRH responded with a donation on behalf of his fine organization?
This is His House and I very much respect this stalwart of the Numismatic Community for helping make this Charity Drive a reality by permitting us to do this in his Forum. Thank you David.
Rick Montgomery has extended an offer to help this Charity. Thanx Rick. It is very much appreciated.
My fellow Numismatists... I am VERY proud to say that as of this moment, not counting items still left to be sold or auctioned, not including what is still left to be collected, our numbers are as follow:
GROSS, INCLUDING DONATIONS, OUTRIGHT SALES AND AUCTION, COMES TO........................................ $3169.00 LESS PAYPAL FEES................................................................................................................................... $ 85.83 ************************************************************************************************* TOTAL NET AS OF THIS MOMENT...............................................................................................................$3083.17
Because of ALL OF YOU this Drive has realized a total that may never again be eclipsed.
I was very inspired by your drive to help the needy.
I grew up with 14 brothers and sisters and remember the days of having little. Most kids got Christmas stockings. We didn't have enough nails or tacks to hang that many and they had holes in 'em, too .
Most kids' gifts were gift wrapped. Ours were set inside paper grocery bags.(Usually a pair of socks, some underwear and one small toy. A few years we were even the recipients of the generosity and kindness of the likes of some of you, here. I thank you still. But we had each other. I still remember the times in later years where my dad used to go deliver food and clothes to needy families and I would think how little he had with fifteen kids. But it was better to give than to receive.... He said that everytime I got a spanking ... (okay, I'm kidding about the spanking part)
In honor of my dad who died in '99 at Christmas time. I am sending via PayPal,enough to defray the costs associated with that service. I just think all of you should pat yourselves on the back for showing what real love is.
Cool stuff Boom. Nothing honors the sanctity of goodness like unselfish giving.
OK, let's see if I can get through this. If you spot any errors, please speak up.

On behalf of the entire Numismatic Community it gives me great pleasure to now really get to work and to represent you all. There is still MUCH to be done...believe me...hey, but for me, it's a Labor of Love. Truth be known, money has already begun to be distibuted with the very first donation being given to Toys for Tots. This is undoubtedly going to be the most fulfilling Christmas to date.
I am grateful beyond words to all that saw fit to give on behalf of the many lives you will touch this year. Thank you One and All. This is truly outstanding.
I will keep you posted but first it looks like I have a few labels to print, postage to pay and a whole lot of shipping to do.
Everybody, PLEASE double check my figures along with the results.
I also want to publicly thank LeeG for all his help along with Jabba and hiyosilver. They and many more here, have huge hearts of Gold and I for one will not soon forget any one of you. I also want to thank Outhaul. Thanks Bob. Until later.
Last, but certainly not least, I want to thank David Hall for permitting me to use this venue for this most worthy cause. Thank you David and thanks also goes out to SM1 and Ms Carol.
