Question, search for consensus on ebay spamming...

Having just finished spamming both "Vintage Sportscard Trading" and "Buy, Sell & Trade - Sports" with links to my newest Ebay auctions, I wondered.
Is there already a consensus (that isn't being followed), or rather, can we come to a consensus to keep one of those boards for one thing - advertising Ebay and/or merchandise on external company websites - and the other board for the other - buying, selling, and trading directly with board members on the threads themselves. I honestly don't know which should be which, or if someone could ask CU to reorganize or rename the boards to make it more clear.
Too many sellers, like me, clog up both boards with the same posts so that the purpose of the content on each is virtually indistinguishable. It stinks for sellers because we feel we have to list in both places so as not to miss the potential customer who only looks at one for things to buy, and it stinks for buyers because we have ebay spam all over the place and have to search two boards when we're looking to buy something.
Anybody have a good suggestion how to fix it? The obvious "yeah dg, quit posting on both!" answer is somewhat indicative of the problem. I won't stop posting both since I know potential buyers are looking at one or the other and I don't want to miss finding them. Just as every time I'm looking to make a trade or buy a card off of Ebay from another board member, I end up searching both boards.
Or better yet maybe CU can create an "Ebay - Sports" board.
Thoughts?

...its the people who spam this and the PSA Set Registry Forums that annoy me.
1955 Bowman Raw complete with 90% Ex-NR or better
Now seeking 1949 Eureka Sportstamps...NM condition
Working on '78 Autographed set now 99.9% complete -
Working on '89 Topps autoed set now complete
I agree with LD on this one.
But I will also add, "who's" doing the spam/selling will probably play a little into it.

I don't remember the last time I read anything on either one of those areas.
I don't sell and the vintage discussions appear to be better here.

<< <i>I guess so long as my spam sits at the top of each board, I don't mind either. It's all the s that become difficult to manage, as a seller. >>
?? but you "bump" your own threads.. others annoy you?
I don't recall saying anything about being annoyed when people bump their threads. You've misunderstood my quote. I said as a seller it is difficult to manage and bump the same listings on two threads. Well maybe not difficult, but to me at least, it feels like a waste of time and would be nice to have one central place for that. Hence I started this thread.
Southsider, I tend to agree. One problem I have is defining vintage sometimes. I'd consider something like 75 Topps BB, which is hugely popular, a modern issue. On the other hand, there are tons of otherwise vintage-only collectors who are interested in that set. But I think when I get sick of posting on both boards, I'll probably do as you say and stick to the Vintage board for all my stuff. The only 70s cards we ever have are occational higher end PSAs, which I think is often of interest for vintage collectors anyways.
