Coin Show in Portland, Maine this Sunday

The Gorham Coin Club will conduct its 60th consecutive semi-annual coin show this Sunday (November 6) in Portland, Maine, at the Holiday Inn - West at Exit 48 of the Maine Turnpike (Riverside Street). The show will have 43 dealer tables (all numismatic material). Hours are 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM for the public; dealer set up begins at 7:00 AM. There is no admission charge. This is the largest coin show in Maine, and is very well attended. If you are in northern New England, make a point to attend. I will be staffing the club table and running things, so stop by and chat about coins. Big D (Darin Whittaker) will be there, along with many other quality dealers.

Toneddollars, you should know that we travel extensively throughout ALL of New England in search of quality coins.
This is a good show with a nice mix of dealers and material.
If you make it to the show, please stop and say hello.

BTW, does the Gorham Club have a website? I haven't been able to find anything.
Thanks,

There will be a good mixture of numismatic material at the show, predominantly US coins, but also at least one excellent currency dealer, and two ancient dealers. While most dealers will have moderately priced US coins, at least one dealer will have higher priced early type material. Take your time, look at lots of material, and be sure to ask every dealer for specifically what you are looking for.
For more information about the Gorham Coin Club, PM me and I will give you the particulars. We do not presently have a website, although one is in the planning.
I'll be sure and track you down and introduce myself.
Thanks again,
Marc

I wasn't able to sell a ton of coins, but was able to buy a fair amount of nice material.
Always a pleasure to sit and chat with Mr. Crain about half dimes and such and the seated dime collection displayed by Mr. Fortin was impressive, to say the least.
I'll be back next fall and looking forward to it. Have to double check those spring dates though...........
