PCGS population question

Does PCGS issues a population report for World coins? If so, would someone kindly look up the population for a South African 1949 5 shilling in MS67, MS68, and MS69. Much appreciated. Oh, the PCGS number is 562392 if that helps.

No, the only thing you can get is Canada. Maybe someday
You can get reports on any coin PCGS has graded, but you'll need the number from the slab, and you also have to subscribe to the pop service. The pop lookup is included in the collector submission fee.

This only seems to work using the PCGS Numbering system coin#, not the certification # from the slab. Since World (German, for me) coins don't have PCGS coin #s, how does one look up the pop? Thanks, - Preussen

You are correct but it takes the PCGS # to get it to work (did 4 slabs, but only 2 had results). The one that had the most results is my proof Berlin University 3 mark Prussia. It's PCGS # is 289849 and shows 10 coins graded in proof. I have been a member of PCGS for a number of years and just found this out

You said that with such authority, but come on now, we both know that I told YOU how to make it work

Actually, NGC's POP REPORT is over 3 years behind. I've sent them several 'one-off' coins in the last 3 years and they are still not listed.

NGC says they are current now through the letter "G". This is not quite correct since I collect Germany and some of mine are still not listed (just a few).3Mark
