Standing by the mailbox

I bought myself a birthday present and I have been waiting now for three days.
Not quite as nice as Cruzi's 23 sovereign, but when I can start affording coins like that, Russian Roubles will be not available anwhere for any price.

Sorry about the lack of a link guys. If someone will show me how to do that, I will save everyone the annoying cut and paste thing.
Thanks,
Nick

Nick, on either the 'new topic' page or a 'reply' page, click on the http button on the row under Message Text:.
You can cut/paste the http:// link into that box; click return, and it will give you a "text" box to personalize the link, or just click return and the link will appear with the blue highlighted word, Text
Less frustration for all involved, I do believe.
Thanks,
Nick
Yeah tell me about it. I have a limited budget more so now than before and finding coins I want at a reasonable price really kicks butt.
I am getting fairly close to completing a set of Russian 1 and 2 kopeck copper pieces from 1797-1801, the short lived reign of Paul I. Then I get to work on the dengas and polushkas.
In deference to my bday, the USPS managed to deliver a package of 79 Soviet coins today which fleshed out my 1960-1990 years quite nicely.

Now.If I just knew what the other buttons were for??????????

Speaking about Paul I's kopek, do you happen to have the 1799 and 1800 2 kopeks NO mintmark versions? They seem very hard to find... Also, there seems to be quite a fair bit of overdates in Paul I's copper coins.
8 over 7.
No I do not have any of the overdates or the no mintmark issues. Like I was saying, I am close to completing the set, not quite done.
I really need to buy some more reference books, but I have been kind of a moron like that and just working with the one I have.
By the way, it is not nice to demoralize someone on their birthday!
LOL
Do you happen to have any of those 1799 or 1800 dates with No Mintmark? If not, if you happen to run across them, please let me know.
I would at least like to be put in touch with someone.
There is one seller of Russian in Chicagoland, Alex Basok, who trained at The Hermitage and worked for Harlan J. Berk for quite a long time as well. He is very well educated and has a nice website.
Here is his website, in case you would like to check it out.
