    Not too busy around here yet, although it is only 3:30. In the next couple hours my town of 40,000 people will have about 60,000 in it. You won't be able to move, traffic will be backed up for 10 + miles to the nearest highway. People will sit in that traffic for 2 hours and miss alot of the festivities. We've brought in Police from surrounding towns including an equestrian unit and many motorcycles. On top of all that it is unseasonably warm, 70 degrees, when it is usually about 40 after dark. This fact alone will bring out even more crazies!

    Yesterday we had 6,000 motorcycles come through at 4pm as part of an annual charity ride for MD. Talk about loud!!

    Now that you've read all the complaining, I really enjoy this time of year and after today the foliage season will taper off, the tourists will fade away, and the traffic will subside. It will be pretty quiet around here most of the winter.

    Living in an apartment condo sucks for halloween.. kids don't come because they're not allowed in the building.
