Dumb questions on free submission

A couple questions on preparing my free submission (6 free with membership).
First - what Type of Service do i check off, if any?
Second - For the Grading Fee Calculation do I just put -0- ?
Third - I just calculate and pay for the return shipping fee, right?

Thanks for your patience...

    Hi,
I am not sure what you check off fot the type of service, maybe complinmentory (probably mispelled).
Yes you mark off $0.00 for the fees.
Yes you just pay for the return shipping fee.
    Good luck with your submission.

  • Thanks for the info. I really appreciate it.

Would it be asking too much to ask for someone to review the cards I'm sending in? I really don't have enough experience to judge appropriately what kind of grade the cards might get and if it would be worth it to submit them. I have some really good scans that I could send if someone would want to take a look at them and give me an oblective opnion. It would be much appreciated.

    Thanks.

Why don't you put up the scans in this thread?

  • Type of Service = Other (6 free with membership)
    Grading fee = 0
Return shipping = 6 cards X card value (see chart on back of form)

Don't forget your check or credit card info.

Best of luck with your submission.

you are using the form they sent you that was within the packet?

that form i thought sez "complimentarty" right across it.

    Good for you.
  • No form with "complimentary" - I have a voucher that I have to include with my sub.

Also, I can't post pics yet - something about being a 60 day member.

I may be wrong but I was under the impression that when one signed up for the memberships that they sent a special submission form. Are you saying that in your packet you got a voucher good for 6 subs? If so I would call them and see what is going on. When I signed up I got a special submission form.

as for what you will be sending in i would send in the cards that I wanted slabbed the most. regardless of grade.

in any event good luck on the subs!

edited to add: Print out one submission form per type of service (there are unique submission numbers for each). Don't forget to photocopy this for your records!
(This form is not to be used for complimentary submissions).
    Good for you.

Mucky, When I submitted my free submission, it was on a regular form. I called and asked customer service, and they told me to check "other" on type of service and write CCSubmission in the space provided. Also write it on the package too. That was back in June, so I dont know if they changed it or not. Bob-

They stopped the form and are now including the voucher. I received the voucher upon my renewal several months ago. Also, the voucher has an expiration date which the sub. forms did not.

Ok.........however the website states that you can't use the form that you can print out still. Do you just send in the voucher with the cards?
