Hi-
What is everyone looking for in November as far as grading specials go?? I would like to see a tall boy special again or a continuation of the '70's special going on right now since I have more '70's stuff I would like to submit when I have a little more cash in the middle of the month!

(Insert trumpet blasts here) Complete set grading special!
Maybe something along these lines...
1-100 card set......... $5.00 per
101-500 card set..... $4.00 per
500 or more cards... $3.00 per
EDIT: Lower the above dollar amounts for a bigger response to the special.
Maybe with the option of having the collectors name on the flip for the entire set.
I know its a little too original of an idea (pick your jaws up off your keyboards here) but think about it. Huge revenue for PSA. Complete sets graded for PSA's true customers. Don't forget DSL, 4SC and the rest grade a ton of cards but they sell them to the registry guys! Not a shot at the big submitters either, I'm probably one of DSL's biggest fans but lets take care of the registry guys.
I honestly think this could work well.
Whaddaya think!?

<< <i>I doubt they will make much of a profit with $3.00 grading. >>
I wouldn't be surprised if it cost them 25 cents per grade. Remeber most companies mark stuff up pretty hig, and we as chumps want to throw a party when they knock off $1.00 from the price.
I doubt they would ever do something like 500+ for $3 each. The big submitters would have an absolute cow about the situation and PSA wouldn't want to risk losing them. Although, I would submit a TON more cards if they ran that. But, everyone else would also and you would see mountains of PSA graded cards on Ebay that wouldn't even sell for the price of shipping them let alone the enormous handling charges that are plaguing Ebay right now.
0-100 card sets : $ 5 card
101-500 card sets: $4 card
501 or more card sets: $3 card
The registry would grow by leaps and bounds and psa would make us registry folks happy!
