I granted you that ability as an assumption of the question.
(I have the same problem).
So far, I'm surprised. I rather ASSUMED that I was less focused than most other collectors, and many would be picking 1 through 3. I'm a 4 man as well.
Seriously, cast a wide net and throw those that don't met your requirements back. This strategy works because something that you always want surfaces when you least expect it and and true rarity rarely shows up... take advantage of that because such opportunities may never come again.
Experience the World through Numismatics...it's more than you can imagine.
(Many of the coins in my dime set are high end for the grade. Some are average. And many coins were passed over even when they were bargain priced. Much help from a handful of forum members.)

And we've seen your picks (or is that "pics"?).....I'd say you chose well.
I had the thought of completing a series first and then start upgrading, but I haven't completed any yet so it has thrown my timetable off.

For me it's all about having fun. I don't get to hung up on whether the coins match in grade, color, or even value.
Once a set is built, I may decide to upgrade some of the coins but I usually just move on to another set.
My collection is all over the place, but I like it.
