1975 Proof Set

I just purchased several proof sets from ebay. One of which was a 1975 in the original mint plastic holder. This set is comprised of a 1976 (bicentennial) dollar, half, and quarter, and a 1975 dime, nickel, and cent. Is this an error? If so, is it common? Is this some kind of mule set?

Any advice the wise ones of the board could offer would be tremendously appreciated.

Thanks!

The bicentennial quarter, half and dollar were struck in 1975 and 1976 and are part of both years' proof sets. image

The Ike is a type I and appears only in this set as a cu/ni proof.

The only real difference between the 3 bicentennial coins in the 1975 and 1976 proof sets is in the IKE Dollar. In 1975, the words "UNITED STATES OF AMERICA" and "ONE DOLLAR" are in a broad flat letter style while the 1976 version is in a narrow higher style.

The same is true of the mints sets.
I decided to change calling the bathroom the John and renamed it the Jim. I feel so much better saying I went to the Jim this morning.

    The name is LEE!
