Need Help In Locating Person Who Bought Lemus 1871-CC Dime
Folks,
There is an important discussion in progress concerning some die artifacts within the CC mintmark on the reverse of the Lemus 1871-CC dime. The coin was auctioned on October 18 in NYC. I would like to find the person who bought this dime. It is important to the seated dime collecting community and numismatics in general that we find this dime and determine what is the root cause of the mintmark artifacts. There is a suggestion that just maybe, some 1871-CC dimes were struck in 1872.
Please see this link for the details on the previous discussions.

No auction house will do that. Trust me I tried.
