Would be Cubs World Series Tickets from the past

Im a contractor and today i meet a customer that worked for MastroNEt. Long story short he gave me a block of CUBS World Series Tickets from 1984. I think these are called Phantom Tickets?? Obviously the Cubs never made it to the series in 1984>
Does PSA "slab" tickets like this? Worth anything?? image

You are right in that they are "Phantom Tickets." MLB gives clubs who are in playoff contention the OK to print postseason tickets "just in case." They are really worth more as a conversation piece than any monetary value (maybe $10-20 each). I couldn't tell you if PSA would "slab" them or not.....Nice gift!!

  • OK cool

Yeah I dont care if they're worth 5 bucks, they're pretty cool nontheless.

  • FWIW PSA will not grade these tickets.

"We will not grade high school tickets, audit or gate stubs, fan tickets issued after the event, Phantom Tickets where event never took place, or Ticket Master issued sporting event tickets."

ah well. Still a great gift.
