I need help with the following acronyms. I see them all the time but don't know what they mean.

PQ

POR

PQ is Premium Quality, often used if a coin would be on the brink of a grade. Example: MS64PQ would be close to a 65.

PQ - Perfect Quality (has no real meaning)

POR - Price On Request

PQ = overused but occasionally accurate term to describe a coin which is "premium quality" for the grade.

POR = if you have to ask, you can't afford it.

Ever see those ads where every other coin is described as PQ?

I often wondered how that dealer got so lucky to get rid of the dogs but keep the PQ coins JUST FOR THAT AD
