86 fleer bkb wax

anyone notice the unopened wax box BBCE had is now gone??? just curious if any board members jumped on it.

    I saw that too. That is a lot of money. Funny thing about the 86 Fleer is that the pack prices have gone up, but the single card prices have gone down. You would be hard pressed to make a profit opening that box at 11k. I guess it shows the value added unopened brings as it continues to dry up.
  • It was a pretty sweet box. Had Four Jordan stickers showing on the back. 11,000 is a lot of dough though.

    I heard the stickers are now next to impossible to pull in Mint condition. Is that true? How many packs were in this box, 36? If so, about how many Jordan's would that roughly equate to, or wasn't there a definite collation order?

    36 packs of 12 should yield roughly 3 of each card (132 card set) and 3 of each sticker. wasn't there a jordan BGS 10 in excess of 20k that recently sold?
