Pictures of Pictures!

This was an experiment that turned out pretty cool. I had some of my digi pictures developed for 10 cents each to see how the quality turned out and for record purposes. Here they are. It cut off the edges of some but I think they turned out very neat! I think it would be cool to get doubles of prints, keep one if you sell the coin, and send the picture with the coin to the buyer for their records.

What do ya think?

Im really shocked with the quality. I thought for sure they would be pixelated or something...

  • That's pretty cool image

I've thought about trying that since you can just take your camera card in to Wally World and get prints image

Looks good. I printed out pictures from my digicam a while back and the quality is really good and you really can't tell that they're digital.

Im camera goofy too so it's pretty simple to use.
  • I’m looking for a good all-around camera that I can use for coins and family stuff. I don’t know much about cameras, myself, but I’m going to check that one out.

It's a lot of fun taking pictures of pictures. When friends got married and had their proof set of photos, I used to set them up, take pictures of all of the proofs and then air brush out the words such as proof and make copies for myself of all the pictures. Used to use a bellows lens, tripod and studio lighting for such types of work back before digital cameras. Nowadays you can just scan them or take pictures of the pictures and into the computer for fine tuning. If the wedding falls apart, just crop out the one you don't want. Nowadays I do the same for making targets. Take a picture of something, superimpose it on a bulls eye and print out a cheap target. One more thing you may want to try is doctoring up the photos.
