"Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you." -Luke 11:9
"Hear, O Israel: The LORD our God is one LORD: And thou shalt love the LORD thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy might." -Deut. 6:4-5
"For the LORD is our judge, the LORD is our lawgiver, the LORD is our king; He will save us." -Isaiah 33:22
OK here is a possible explanation for the hole placement. It seems that many silver coins were holed during WWII. My dad left me a bunch that he brought home after the war. The coins were holed without reguard to placement for jewelry use. It seems that they were just holed to be linked together so they could be wrapped around the body or neck to make theft or loss harder. Makes sense in a way . A person on the run with unstable currency would have a ready source of trade that is more secure then coins in a pouch or pocket. The coins are a mix German swiss latvian french.... Whatever was silver.

<< <i>I don't get it. Why isn't it holed at the top >>
Cuz they didn't want to ruin it...
<< <i>Exacly, why would someone wear it upside down?
Maybe the person who holed it was French.
