Bust Half...grade, cleaned, AT/NT?

I saw this for sale yesterday and got some photos -- figuring someone would buy it because of the toning. It sold today sometime, but I'm still interested in opinions as to grade, cleaning, and whether it is AT or NT.

With the pictures here, I would guess:
Harshly cleaned, and then retoned in an album- so the toning is sorta NT. As for grade, I would say au50 or perhaps au53......

The Color pattern looks correct for NT.

Cool toning, but the centers look waaaaaay too bright for me. But I have seen similar pieces in non-problem ANACS holders.

Always looking for original, better date VF20-VF35 Barber quarters and halves, and a quality beer.
  • That coin looks like it was definitely cleaned, but as others have said the toning looks legit.

I collect Capped Bust series by variety in PCGS AU/MS grades.
